GRC Modular Building

Throughout the years, GRC has been a popular choice for modular building due to its strength and light weight. Often used for bathroom and shower pods, in Europe it is commonly found in all types of service and utility cubicles.

BCM have worked with many manufacturers in producing modular housing and panels for fast track off site construction methods.

Currently working with Healthmatic on the production of stand alone toilet buildings, BCM are producing GRC stud frame panels and GRP roof components. Each side of the final building is made in a single panel so that the whole structure can be made within a week. Following a further week in curing, the unit is assembled and dispatched on a HIAB vehicle to be offloaded into poition.

Insulation is incorporated into the external skin of the stud frame panels and the GRP roof. The unit are supplied in a range of stone faced finishes with an anti-graffiti coating.
