Met Quarter, Liverpool

Liverpool is currently a major area for new development and many large projects are rising from their foundations. The Met Quarter off Victoria Street and Stanley Street is one such contract.

A medium sized shopping centre being constructed by Carillion PLC in the old post office building, the design brings together the existing classical facades with new stone work and structural glazing.

Home to such names as Giorgio Armani and Flannels, the high quality demands for the interior malls have been satisfied by GRC column, fascia and soffit cladding.

Commencing on site in late 2004, the build programme is extremely short requiring the shell to be complete by December 2005. BCM went through many different colour samples and finishes to achieve the look a very demanding client wanted.
