Red Cross Abseil

Jon Green aged 41, a retained firefighter with Whitchurch Fire Crew who works for BCM GRC ltd in Whitchurch, abseiled from Runcorn Bridge on Sunday 14 September in aid of the British Red Cross. His niece, Sharon Davies, who is from Nantwich, asked Jon, if he would accompany her in the 65ft free-fall drop to help steady her nerves! Between them, they raised over £550 for the charity for whom Sharon is a volunteer. The British Red Cross has raised over £17,000 from this event. Jon and Sharon wish to say thanks to everyone who sponsored them.
