Supporting Network Rail Works Delivery Teams

Between 2024 and 2025, Network Rail Works Delivery Teams undertook a series of programmed infrastructure upgrades across the national network, requiring dependable and high-performance cable management solutions. As a Tier 1 supplier to Network Rail, BCM GRC Ltd. played a pivotal role by supplying over 5,000 lineal metres of its C/01/09 elevated cable trough system, which was installed across multiple sites to support electrification and signalling enhancements.

In addition to product supply, BCM GRC Ltd. provided technical support to aid the specification and integration of key GRC accessories, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility across varied site conditions. All products were manufactured and dispatched from BCM GRC’s purpose-built facility in Whitchurch, Shropshire, enabling efficient and timely delivery aligned with project milestones.

The lightweight and non-combustible nature of the trough system continued to offer significant advantages, particularly in terms of ease of installation and compliance with safety standards. BCM GRC’s contribution helped streamline installation processes, reduce logistical complexity, and support the long-term resilience of Network Rail’s infrastructure.
